These terms keep things transparent between us. By using HostPeppy, you're agreeing to a hosting relationship built on mutual respect and clear boundaries.
These Terms of Service ("Terms," "TOS," or "Agreement") govern your relationship with HostPeppy. By purchasing any of our hosting plans — whether it's our ₹30/month starter package or a high-performance VPS — you confirm that you've read, understood, and agreed to follow these rules.
The latest version of these Terms always lives right here on our website. We update them as our services evolve, so checking back periodically is a good habit. If you ever disagree with a change, you can close your account before the new terms take effect.
HostPeppy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms. We don't enjoy cutting anyone off, but protecting the integrity of our network and the websites of honest customers comes first.
Our servers are shared spaces. What you do on your hosting account affects everyone on the same machine. To keep things fair and fast for all customers, we prohibit certain activities and content types.
Phishing sites, malware distribution, bulk email, video streaming, downloading, warez, pirated software, ROMs, emulators, nulled themes or plugins, hacking tools, password crackers, IP spoofing, human trafficking content, child exploitation material, pornography, live copyrighted streaming, pirated music or video distribution, defamatory content targeting individuals or communities, gambling portals, lottery sites, and satta operations.
Additionally, the following are not allowed on our shared hosting plans:
Adult content is permitted only on our Offshore VPS and Dedicated Server plans, and may require purchasing an additional dedicated IP address. Shared hosting is not suitable for this type of content.
Music, video, or movie download sites are restricted to VPS and Dedicated Servers only. If found on shared or reseller hosting, the account will be suspended or terminated immediately without prior warning. No refund will be issued.
Shared hosting means sharing server resources with other customers. We monitor usage to ensure no single account hogs CPU, RAM, or disk I/O to the point where others suffer.
We may request a clear scanned copy of your government-issued ID (passport, driving license, or Aadhaar) to verify your identity. The details must match your account information. If verification fails, the account will be cancelled without refund.
CPU & RAM abuse: Accounts consuming excessive CPU or memory will be suspended without notice. You must optimize your website — reduce plugin bloat, compress images, cache pages, or upgrade to a VPS.
Email limits: Maximum 20 emails per hour and 50 emails per day across all mailboxes. Individual mailboxes are capped between 150MB and 500MB depending on your plan. Using email as a storage dump violates this policy.
Database limits: Any database exceeding 250MB is considered oversized for shared hosting. We may request reduction or suspend the account. Large, high-traffic databases belong on VPS or Dedicated Servers.
Cron jobs: Minimum interval of 15 minutes between runs. MySQL queries must complete within 30 seconds. Using 25% or more of system resources for longer than 90 seconds triggers automatic suspension.
Free domains: We allow Freenom domains (.tk, .cf, etc.) but provide no refunds if you cancel or request one.
Domain changes: Each hosting plan allows up to 3 domain name changes per year.
Brand name misuse: Registering domains that mimic famous brands (like Flipkartstore.xyz or fake Bajaj Finance sites) for hosting purchases is prohibited. Such domains will be suspended immediately with no refund.
When we say "unlimited," we mean there are no hard caps on normal website operations. You can host a reasonable number of files, images, and pages that a typical small business or blog would need.
However, "unlimited" does not mean infinite storage for anything you want. The following are explicitly not allowed under our unlimited plans:
Violating these conditions will result in account termination, with or without advance notice. If your database grows beyond 250MB, we recommend upgrading to a VPS plan where you have dedicated resources.
Shared & Reseller Hosting: We take free server backups approximately once every 30 days. These are overwritten each cycle, meaning only one backup copy exists at any time. Due to the scale of our infrastructure, there's a small chance (1-2%) of a backup failure due to technical issues or high server load.
Because of this, we strongly advise you to maintain your own backups. Download your cPanel backup regularly and store it locally or on cloud storage. HostPeppy cannot be held responsible for data loss in any circumstance.
Paid backup subscribers (shared/reseller) receive backups every 15 days. If you use cPanel's Backup Manager, download your files and delete them from the server — we purge all backup files every 10 days without notification. Using your hosting space solely for storing backups is prohibited.
VPS & Dedicated Servers: You are fully responsible for your own backups. We recommend purchasing our Backup Addon or using a third-party backup solution. HostPeppy bears no liability for data loss or corruption on these self-managed platforms.
No refunds on domains. Once a domain is registered or activated, the fee is non-refundable. This is standard across the industry because registries do not refund us.
Trademark infringement: You cannot register domains that mimic existing trademarks or famous brands. Examples like Flipkartstore.xyz or fake financial service domains will be suspended immediately with zero refund.
Renewal reminders: We send invoice reminders one month and one day before expiry. Failure to renew on time is your responsibility. Renewed domains cannot be refunded.
Premium domains: We do not sell or provide premium domain names. If a domain appears available due to a technical glitch but is actually taken, you have two options: provide an alternative domain at no extra cost, or receive a full refund within 24 hours.
Special characters: We do not register domains containing special Unicode characters (e.g., ß, σ, ἀ).
Our affiliate program lets you earn by referring new customers to HostPeppy. Here's how it works and what we expect:
Eligible products for commission: Monthly Web Hosting, One Domain Hosting, Multi Domain Hosting, Unlimited Web Hosting, Small Business Hosting, Windows Hosting, Cloud Web Hosting, cPanel Web Hosting, and Reseller Web Hosting.
Non-eligible products: Domain names, VPS hosting, Dedicated Servers, SSL certificates, Windows VPS, Data Storage Hosting, and Business Email.
Unpaid invoices result in automatic suspension on the due date. Your account and all data will be permanently deleted 10 days after suspension if payment isn't received. HostPeppy is not responsible for data loss due to non-payment.
We will not activate new orders for customers with outstanding balances on their account.
Monthly plan subscribers get 10 days after suspension to renew. After that, data is gone. We strongly recommend switching to yearly plans to avoid accidental lapses and data loss.
Business Email renewals (Office 365 & G Suite): Pay your renewal invoice at least 10 days before expiry. Email services are paused 5 days prior to the due date to ensure smooth third-party license renewal. No exceptions.
Third-party software pricing: If licenses we rely on (Softaculous, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cPanel, Plesk) increase in price, we may adjust our plan rates accordingly. We also reserve the right to change control panel software when necessary.
HostPeppy reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or suspend any service at our sole discretion. We may modify these Terms at any time without individual notification. The latest published version on our website is always the binding one.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. In case of disputes, the jurisdiction shall be Noida only.
In compliance with the DMCA, if you believe a website hosted on our servers infringes your copyright, send your complaint to support@hostpeppy.com. We investigate every claim and take appropriate action under the law.
