Here are the Steps to Add/Delete Domain & Subdomain in cPanel
If you are using the Jupiter Theme in cPanel, follow these steps to add or remove a Domain/Subdomain.
Steps to Add a Domain or Subdomain
- 1. Login to your cPanel Account.
Enter your username and password to access the cPanel dashboard.
Make sure you are using the correct login URL provided by your hosting provider.
- 2. Navigate to Domains under the Domains Section.
Scroll down to the Domains section from the main cPanel homepage.
Click on the Domains option to view all added domains and subdomains.
- 3. Click on Create A New Domain.
This option allows you to add a new domain or subdomain to your hosting account.
You can manage website files, DNS, and settings after creating the domain.
- 4. Enter your desired Domain Name or Subdomain Name and click on Submit.
Type the full domain name carefully without any spelling mistakes.
After entering the details, click the Submit button to complete the process.
- 5. Click on Manage as shown in the below attachments.
The Manage option allows you to edit or control domain settings easily.
You can access domain configurations, document root, and removal options here.
- 6. Now Click on 'Remove Domain'.
This option will permanently remove the selected domain from your cPanel account.
Confirm the removal process carefully before proceeding with deletion.
Congrats!! Domain is removed successfully.
The selected domain has now been deleted from your hosting account.
You can add the domain again anytime from the Domains section if required.
Important Notes
- Make sure the domain is properly pointed to your hosting server before adding it.
Removing a domain may also remove associated website files, emails, or DNS records depending on your hosting configuration.
Always take a backup before deleting any domain or subdomain.
